Day 1: Palma de MallorcaThe first day of the trip, we propose you to dedicate it to the capital of the island: Palma de Mallorca. The best way to get to know the history and emblematic buildings of the city is to take a free tour. It will take you through the most important streets of the historic center and you will visit the exterior of the Cathedral, the Almudaina and the Town Hall. Walk through the shopping streets of Palma de Mallorca until you reach the Town Hall and the Plaza Mayor. This is the busiest area in the historic center. We visited the City Hall only outside so that it would give us time to make our next stop: Bellver Castle. Back in Palma de Mallorca, go for a walk along the Paseo Marítimo and enter to see the beautiful Lonja de Palma (free). It is a Gothic building that is very worthwhile.

Day 3: Caves of Drach, Manacor and Porto Cristo. Optional Cuevas del HamsThe most touristic place to see in Mallorca is the Cuevas del Drach. So today's goal is to go there and take the opportunity to discover the area. The Drach Caves are stalactite and stalagmite caves. In addition, these have the peculiarity of having a huge underground lake. Calculate that the visit lasts approximately 1 hour. At the end of the visit, everyone attends a classical music concert where the caves themselves are the soundboard. It's a very nice time because the musicians get by boat to where you are sitting.

Day 4: The best coves in Mallorca In the first 3 days, you have seen the most important cultural places to see in Mallorca. So, what's left of the trip is for relaxation and fun. They are also important! Today it's time for those beaches, sun and crystal clear water. You will see that they are beaches with turquoise and crystal clear waters. They are small so, if you go in high season, you will probably find them with a lot of people.

Day 5: Leisure activities to do in Mallorca or cultural visit. You choose! Mallorca is a fun island, with many activities for all audiences. There is no boredom here! And we like that. Are you traveling as a couple or with friends and want some adrenaline? Then try a quad tour along the roads and coves of Mallorca. Option 2: Alcudia and PollençaIf you pass the leisure day and want to continue with the cultural plan, you have more places to visit in Mallorca! This time they are a little further away from Palma de Mallorca, but since the distances are not very long, you can do it perfectly in one day. The villages we recommend you see are Alcudia and Pollença. Alcudia is a Roman city with a medieval layout. Visit its wall, the castle and the historic buildings of the historic center. Pollença, on the other hand, combines the historical legacy with very beautiful and wild coves such as Cala Murta, Cala Feliu, Cala Gossalba or Cala Figuera. So, once here, visit the beautiful village and relax in one of these coves with beautiful views.

Santa Catalina, the trendy neighborhood in Palma de Mallorca The neighborhood of Santa Catalina today is the most trendy in Palma de Mallorca. Its streets distributed between the busy Paseo Marítimo and the interesting Es Baluard museum offer the most cosmopolitan experience of the capital of the Balearic Islands. The most current shops next to traditional businesses, markets with the best of local gastronomy along with succulent gastrotheques, design and history, the most chic and the most authentic. And as if that were not enough, all wrapped in the Mediterranean atmosphere that keeps all the Mallorcan essences.

***Paseo Marítimo is the neighbourhood where my accommodation is located. Undoubtedly one of the best and most attractive spots in Palma. Despite being known as la "isla de la calma" (the island of calm), Majorca has a great many places where you can enjoy a great night out. One alternative is to go into the heart of the city, to the area known as La Llotja where you will find a great many restaurants in wich you can enjoy international cooking as well as the typical Majorcan gastronomy. You can also enjoy its bars and pubs, some of which offer live music, jazz, blues, etc. in a select atmosphere where you will have an unforgettable evening. But without a doubt, the most avant-garde atmosphere at night is to be found in the Paseo Maritimo, where the best discos and pubs of different styles and ambience will fascinate you with an attractive dreamlike combination of lights, colour and sound right in the bay of Palma. One of the most luxurious area for night entertainment in Majorca is undoubtedly Punta Portals. A modern marina in a setting of high standing restaurants, bars and pubs, where some of the national and international celebrities who visit our island meet up. Neither must we forget the area of the Playa de Palma and Can Pastilla where many fashionable discos and bars are to be found in the front line, right next to the beach.

Every Saturday the modern neighborhood of Santa Catalina becomes the meeting point for partygoers: it's time to live the afternoon. Unlike the rest of the Spanish festivals, which usually start quite late, the afternoon usually starts at 1:30 p.m. and ends around 9:30 p.m. It is normal to go to the Santa Catalina market first to have a beer or some wines accompanied by some tapas at noon. The bars on Avenida Argentina are also well known. The market closes at 5:00 p.m. and that's when people go to Luna or Kaelum, which open at 4:30 p.m., as well as Social Club, on the promenade. These places have free admission but if you arrive too late... get ready to queue! Older people usually come in the afternoon, 30 and up. DJs usually play Pop, Rock and Disco songs from the 80s, 90s and 2000s. Every year, the afternoon grows in popularity and every day there are more bars that offer special offers to liven up the Palma afternoon.
