An easy walk with spectacular outlook over Currumbin Creek and its rock pools and waterfalls. Wheel chair access. Lovely for a swim. And on those spring nights if you go on dusk or when it's dark you can see the glow worms.

An easy few minutes walk from The Nook. Beautiful cold clear water, particularly after there has been some good rain come through. Lovely for a swim on those hot summer days.

Just a little bit further down the road than the rock pools. Only known by locals. A lovely place for a dip on those hot days when the rock pools are too crowded and you're looking for somewhere quieter to cool down.

Currumbin beach peaks at a headland with an estuary on one side and the beach on the other. It is a spectacular beach with the more tranquil creek on one side for those who like calmer water, and the surf on the other. Great cafes and coffee shops across the road.

This gallery is spectacular, a must see when you are in the area. It is home to the wonderful Margaret Olley exhibition where parts of her whole house have been relocated. Other exhibitions rotate through the gallery. Stunning views look out over the Tweed hinterland and there's a cafe where you can sit to enjoy the views.

This is my go to for birthday and Christmas presents. Always something new that you won't find anywhere else. Run by a kiwi woman who used to be a florist, dabbles in interior design and has a diverse taste that is often sprinkled with unique Australian-a.

There are not many of these independent bookshops around anymore. If you're a reader who loves loves a good recommendation from knowledgeable staff then Boardwalk Books is definitely worth a visit.
