Jim’s Dock in Jerusalem is a great location and dining experience on the water. Check the FB page in advance to be sure they are open the day you plan to visit. They are typically open Thursday to Monday and closed Tuesday and Wednesday.

Food scene
Matunuck Oyster Bar is known as “the best restaurant in Rhode Island” and is a short walk (under 15min) from the Goose. Best path is to walk out to the left up Gooseberry then make a left onto Meadows street - you’ll see a dirt path at the end of the dead end road to cut through to the development of Island View on the other side. From there MOB is nearly within sight.
Unless you’re headed there during very off hours during the week, make a reservation in advance - only available on their website. And if you can’t get it, order take out! It’s worth it.

The closest public beach is East Matunuck State Beach - opens 9am weekdays and 8:30am weekends with first come, first serve parking. (On sunny summer days the lot can fill up sometimes by 10am). Non-resident daily parking is $12 weekday, $14 weekend.
