Free of entrance fee. Nice park and also a good option when you are heading to the botanical gardens. The house in the middle is an art school and has a good angle for some shots of the Crist statue

This neighborhood is amazing with carioca vibe, samba and tradicional restaurants. Here I recommend Restaurant do Mineiro. Get the Feijoada should be enough for 4 people to eat. Come and leave by taxi
