Do yourself a favor and get the migas taco! You will have to wait, and it's not exactly fine dining, but it is entirely worth it. Grab a number and get yourself some homemade salsa verde while you are at it. Love this place so much.

Because they serve mini whisky cocktails at brunch. Genius. And the food is super good. Feed a small fam with the Grilled Half Dewberry Hills Chicken at dinner. Hip, great cocktails, comfortable.

We have to stop at this high-end 1950's- referenced new fangled "burger stand" every time we come to Austin. There is something that keeps us coming back. Maybe its the fries or the shakes, but more likely its the CHICKEN burger. Odd? NO, delicious! Our kids would vote sand box is the top reason to visit.

Only in this house they serve better sushi than some of the most acclaimed sushi restaurants in Japan. Transcendent combinations. Order a bamboo of sake, the Hamachi Cure, any of the cool tastings, and Fois Gras Sushi if you are a maniac.

Nice playground for kids. In the summer months (through September usually) they have a good splash pad that keeps the little ones cool and busy! There is a basketball court also.

Or don't ! You'll still have an amazing time only with more people. A favorite watering hole of ours. Not always accessible...just depends on the rain.

Great place. No picnics on the lawn, but just outside you can.
