This is a small town, so if you want organics or more selection there is a Safeway in Ephrata, WA about six miles away
They do have baked goods, fruits, veggies and other items you'd expect in a small town grocery store.

It's a great drive up to the Dam (weather depending). Beautiful Dry Falls is along the way and other small towns and State Parks.

There is a small parking lot and a nice walk through the Boys Scouts camp. It's around a mile from the house so you don't have to drive. (map at the house)
That is also a nice spot for a swim in the summer. It's deeper than the beach that's close and less people use that beach.
