The cabin has deeded access to the lake, and there are trails out the back door to hike in the forest. High quality linens are provided to add comfort for your stay, and the wood burning fireplace keeps you cozy. You will be staying in the historic parlor of our 1869 building, offering all the modern amenities in a historic setting. Located in downtown, across from Fincantieri Bay Ship, a minute walk away from bars and restaurants.

We are close to numerous State & County Parks, Boat launches, ATV/Snowmobile trails & more! The fire pit provides endless entertainment. Nature abounds with deer, turkeys, eagles, bears and much more!

Our cottage is situated on the “quiet side” of Door County on the meandering Glidden drive along the Lake Michigan shoreline. The cottage is perched upon a small hill and surrounded by pine trees in a relaxed country setting. Guests have dedicated access to Lake Michigan right across the street. The sand beach provides for an excellent location for kayaking, sunbathing, swimming, and walks. Glidden Cottage is only five miles from Sturgeon Bay.
