Skye Red Fox Retreat - stunning luxury glamping

The Red Fox Retreat is the ultimate luxury glamping getaway location. A twist on the more conventional ‘pod’, the cabin features a curved wood interior entered from an arched doorway in front of which is situated a perfectly appointed king sized bed with amazing views of the Trottenish Ridge and the croft (farmland) that surrounds the property. It is warm and cosy to protect against the elements and yet light and airy. The cabin is accessed via a spectacular large undercover deck area.

Gate Lodge on Conservation Farm Isle of Skye

Opened in January 2020, the Gate Lodge is a charming octagon with plenty of original character. Warm and well-equipped, it has been completely renovated and sits within the grounds of a working conservation farm. Strictly No Smoking. Only a ten minute walk from Loch Bay Restaurant, the Stein Inn, Skyeskyns and Diver's Eye, the lodge is surrounded by nature and wildlife with stunning views. It offers the perfect, peaceful break. Taigh Malky is one of two self-contained suites in the property and comprises of a double bedroom, kitchen/living space with a picture window looking onto a stunning view of Loch Roag with the Cuillin mountain range behind. It allows you sanctuary and peace to continue to enjoy the beauty of Skye, after a day of exploring the island. Beams, Geary is a cosy renovated house located in the Waternish Peninsula of North West Skye. Beams is the perfect house for all couples, families and friends, offering spectacular panoramic views. EV Charger also available! Guests can take advantage of an open-plan kitchen, dining and living areas, and a comfortable Main Bedroom. The upstairs open mezzanine has two single beds. A second full bathroom can also be found within the property.

After a day exploring the Isle of Skye, a hot shower awaits, then relax by the woodburner or firepit and share a glass or two before snuggling down in the super comfy 5ft kingsize bed (US queen). Beautiful setting by the sea. 15 minute drive from Portree. Close to local bus route. Plenty of local wildlife to sit and observe. Within walking distance of local hotel. Small but functional - Pod is 3 meters x 4.8 meters.
