Timberwood Tiny Home is a place to rest your head & heart in Efland, North Carolina. The peaceful retreat is down a country road approximately 10-minutes from downtown Hillsborough. The 200 square foot tiny home is on a private corner of 8-acres shared with our main house. It features Scandinavian-style details, two beds, a spacious porch, abundant natural light, a wood-fired hot tub, barrel sauna, cold plunge, and more. There are features of the home that may make it unsuitable for children.

The Magical Cabin on Back Creek

Built in 1939 as a fishing cabin by a gentleman who incorporated box cars as rafters and beams, dates still visible since removing the attic. By far the best place I've ever lived. I decided to share it with others who love to explore, who love listening to the voice of the creek or who come just to sit on the porch high above the creek with a spouse, friend, family, or alone. This ancestral farm house with its heart of pine flooring is nestled in the rolling foothills of the Virginia Piedmont on a beautiful 600-acre VA Century Farm which has been in the same family since just after the Civil War. Now owned and operated by three sisters, one a CPA, one a retired public school principal, and one a pastor of a local Methodist Church. The farm hosts Angus cattle, deer, turkeys, small creeks, a fish pond and is ideal for hiking, or just peace of mind.
