Beautiful Restored Barn -The Old Stables

The Old stables is part of the original estate of Cary Fitzpaine. Although the setting is rural, we are a short way from A37 (.5 mile) and A303 (1.5 miles) which makes us very accessible to other amenities/attractions. The property is self contained and private. The owners live nearby and are happy for guests to walk around the farm, and are also on hand if required. We are in easy reach of many National Trust properties, Yeovilton Fleet Air Arm Museum, Haynes Car Museum and many more.

This is a newly converted annexe with all modern fittings within a secure private drive on the edge of the stunning village Butleigh, 5 mins Millfield School and walking distance to centre of village, church, PO shop and cricket grounds. There is a traditional pub serving real ales, local ciders and great home cooked food and the superb Pitney Farm shop offering organic meat and veg from the mixed farm & market garden. The area offers lovely walks directly from our garden up into the hills at High Ham or down on to The Levels and the river Carey.

The Dairy is a lovingly converted barn set in a gorgeous courtyard setting. We have kept the original beams and furnished with antiques sourced at local auction houses. It is a roomy conversion and can also be rented as a 4 bed. The very comfortable king size bed has an ensuite shower, with power and rainfall shower. There is plenty of outside space and a gas BBQ for your use. There are also bicycles and an all weather tennis courts guest can use, please ask.

The Pear Tree is a light, airy annexe and adjoins a large country house on the outskirts of Street in Somerset. Only a mile from the town centre yet surrounded by fields and a cider orchard. The tree lined drive leads to the main house and three acres of garden. Own entrance, private terrace and parking. Open plan living room, wood stove, TV, large futon. Large, well equipped spacious kitchen. Two bedrooms (sleeps four), family bathroom and downstairs shower room.
