The area is popular with walkers and cyclists and the historic town of Kelso is well known for its abbey, race course and good restaurants.

It's an easy one-mile walk to a pub. Dog friendly. The house next door, a Little House on the Hill (Herniecleugh), is also available.

We are within half an hour's drive from the beach and railway stations. You’ll love Stichill Stables because of the views and the peaceful location. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers who have their car. We can also accommodate a child / third person if required. We are in a fairly rural location, the nearest shops, bars and restaurants being approximately four miles away in the town of Kelso in the Scottish Borders.

Situated in a perfect location with one foot close to the hustle and bustle of the heritage town of Hawick and the other with unbridled access to the beautiful Wilton Lodge Park.
