Late-opening bar with a clubby feel and several arcade machines. Great for groups in their twenties and upwards. Good beer selection and I hear the food isn't bad either.

One of Bristol's iconic bars, Kongs is a relaxed spot with ping pong tables, table football and lots of retro arcade games.

Video game themed bar with a wide selection of coin-operated cabinets and ping-pong table. The halloumi chips and pizza are worth the visit alone!

Let your competitive spirit take over at Kongs. If vintage arcade games such as stone-cold classics Street Fighter II or PacMan aren’t your style, give your wrists a workout on the table football table or don your coolest headband on the table tennis table where a ricocheting shot could end up behind the bar. Lagers are not frowned upon here with an international selection that includes Sierra Nevada from the USA, Affligem from Belgium and Birra Moretti from Italy. Ciders on tap are Thatchers Gold and Symonds.

Playing computer games since we were toddlers and spending most of our working lives working in bars, creating Kongs of King Street in Bristol was the next logical step. Since opening the doors in 2014 the response has been so good that a sister site was on the cards and after much thought Cardiff was perfect place for number 2. Mix some 80’s /90’s arcade game classics, Ping Pong, table foosball, tasty food, great beers, local DJ’s and you’ve got KONGS.
