Famous local spot to go apple picking in the fall. Always loved the caramel apples despite the fact that they are impossible to eat. Locals shop in the barn gift shop for hand made crafts and desserts. Fun day for kids with live music, hay rides, and face-painting. The Friends of Sholan Farms is a working team dedicated to promoting the importance of local agriculture and stewardship of natural resources. The vision is to establish a working farm and agro-ecological education center, which teaches humane sustainable agriculture.

This community farm has pick your own produce available July - October, many festivals in the Spring and Fall and lots of trails open year-round. It offers spectacular views of the local valley. A favorite with dog owners as well.
