The local food is delicious and you can find locals and travelers alike. Everyone having a great time. There is music, a pool table and a place for you to interact and meet new people. It is a 5 min stroll from the unit.

This bar is on the way down the hill to Magens Bay. It lost it's sign in the hurricanes! Very much a local hangout. But if you like reasonably priced Caribbean/Dominican food, try it. The local stews and such are tasty. The atmosphere looks kind of dive bar but lots of local families and kids eat there in early evening.

A very local food spot with a Dominican touch. Think oxtails, fresh fish in butter sauce, curry goat, stew beef, rice and beans, plantains. A favorite stop before or after a day at Magens Bay. Bring cash.

You will not be sorry stopping at Brooks! Outdoor and very casual, this local spot offers some of the best Caribbean food on island. Open for lunch and dinner.

Just down the hill, it may not look like much but you can get fantastic food here and the drinks go down easy. Our favorite is the conch.
