Opened in 1951, this place is iconic and has been a lot of things over its long history. Step in and you'd be brought back in time. Their milkshake/hamburger shop is currently closed but they still sell a wide range of gadgets and is our neighborhood pharmacy. 10 minute walk from studio.

Great burger, great breakfast tacos. Plus all the the items that a traditional drugstore provides. The 50's style soda fountain is worth a look.

The only soda fountain still left in Austin, this is an old Austin gem rarely frequented by anyone other than locals. The burgers are delicious, but I'm partial to a grilled cheese and a banana shake.
