30 minute walk from The Loft, 5 minutes by car, buses also stop opposite both the entrance to Ridgemount Avenue and opposite The Cowherds. Part of the Vintage Inn group. Nice pub, serves good food, added bonus of being on Southampton Common so a daylight walk to build up an appetite or work off an excellent meal.
