Go for a ride on the Mount Hood Railroad. Lots of fun for all ages. Takes you into the Hood River Valley and onto the lower slopes of Mount Hood. Lunch at the end of the line. Fun for train buffs, too, due to the switchbacks during the steep ascent and challenging terrain.
