Thought a smudge pricey, this is a fun place to have some German food. The pretzels are very special, and I particularly enjoy the braised red cabbage. Yes, I know, very pedestrian, but wonderful!

Calling Alive and Kicking a restaurant is a bit of an overstatement. This is a shack, in the middle of the city, that steams lobsters to order. There are a few picnic tables and that it is. But, for those that like lobster, this is a special place. No beer, no wine, just lobster. You can also buy live lobster to prepare at home, but I don't own a lobster pot.
You do need a car to get here, or you can take the 91 bus to Central Square and walk the 3/4 mile.

A very unique museum in the heart of the Fenway area. Under renovation, the artwork has been moved from Mrs. Stewart's original plan for the very first time. The courtyard is a real gem.

The Charles River has a park on both the Boston and Cambridge side. Walk along the Cambridge side and enjoy viewing the boats and Boston skyline. On Sunday, during the warmers months, the section between Central and Harvard Square is closed to vehicles.

Great Korean & Japanese market at the bottom of the hill. Discover condiments you didn't know existed, and can be hard to find anywhere else. Though the bulk of the items are Korean, the Japanese selections are quite comprehensive.
The prepared banchan and weekend meals are delicious. I especially love their seaweed salad and house made kimchi. The freezers are full of microwave dinners, lots of soup in a bowls, or grab a box of Pocky before you get on the bus for a take away snack.

Make sure that you stop at the tourist bureau. There is a lot to see/do in Concord. To visit, you can take a train from North Station, drive your car, or sign up for a bus tour leaving from the Back Bay or Downtown Boston.
