This far north beach park is so so nice for a bit of seclusion in the sun!! I personally think it's far better than the one downtown and there are cool coffee shops in Roger's Park to chill at! Close to Loyola college.

If you wanna go camping in Chicagoland, pack your bags and head to Zion Beach Park!!! You can take the Metra train there and walk (30 min walk) to the camping grounds or just drive there! It is the most fun I've had camping in a loooong looong time! Camping sites are really nice and foresty and right next to the beach. $15 per person.

The Neos are my favorite theater collective to see in the whole city! They perform in a converted funeral home in a small black box theater. They get naked sometimes and ride bikes through the audience. You roll a dice to determine how much you pay to get in.

There are great live music shows here and it's the home of lots of traveling arts and culture exhibitions (just went to the Architecture Biennial there--amazing!!)
