Ti diamo il benvenuto alla "Cabin on Swede Hill". La nostra famiglia coltiva questa terra dal 1871. I miei bisnonni, Swan e Johanna Johnson, emigrarono in America nel 1860 e trovarono questa terra, simile alla Svezia. Hanno cresciuto la loro famiglia qui. Circa 65 famiglie svedesi si stabilirono in questa comunità, che divenne nota come "Swede Hills". Abbiamo appena ricevuto il premio Hoosier Homestead dall'Indiana che celebra il Sesquicentenario. This little cabin sits on the creek side with a deck overlooking the creek. You will have a woods on one side, and farm animals on the other. It is as peaceful as it gets. Enjoy the feeling and atmosphere of camping with a crackling fire in the fire pit, enjoy a s'more or 2, & a cozy queen bed to sleep in at night. It has a loft that can fit an older child or preteen to sleep. If you love camping and farm animals this is the place for you. It’s the peace you have been looking for!

Non devi per forza essere nato in un fienile per andarci in vacanza. Scambia la città per milioni di stelle nel cielo notturno! Entrando dalle porte finestre, sarai accolto da una stanza open space decorata con un motivo rustico/industriale. Rivestimenti in pino nodoso e acciaio zincato, pavimenti in legno, un divano reclinabile in pelle e un divanetto completano la stanza. Ti aspetta una cucina completa con ripiani in granito. C'è un sacco di luce naturale per le serate.

We offer a private cottage on the grounds of Lake O the Woods Club. Cottage has Queen size bed, air conditioning, heater, refrigerator, microwave, TV, coffee maker, work/dining area, private deck and porta-potty. Payment of club daily grounds fee ($30-$60) is optional . Pricing on club website. There is no running water in the cottage. Bathrooms, showers, hot tub, sauna and swimming pool are available at the clubhouse and pool area after payment of grounds fees.
