The “Kenzie B” cottage is a newly built cottage with unique features throughout like a sliding steel barn door, a steel shower and old barn beams along the ceiling. The covered veranda off the front of the cottage provides you with stunning views of the tidal river and a private hot tub overlooks the river as well. Swim, boat, float, whatever you wish, the river awaits! We also have a motorized floating picnic table for rent if you'd like to explore the river some more.

Riverside Cottage (with heated pool Mid Jun -Sept)

Cottage sits right alongside of the West River of Pictou and has a heated swimming pool. Very quiet and private. Couples/Singles only. Free use of the onsite canoe or kayaks. There is a private firepit onsite which can be used when the government burn restrictions permit, and a private deck with a bbq. There is also an above ground heated pool shared with the owners. Great place to unwind. Separate entrance, bathroom and deck. We are two women living on 85 acres in rural Nova Scotia. We have four horses, chickens, two dogs and two cats. There are beautiful trails to walk through that lead you through forest and open areas, all the way to the back of the property where a stream runs through. It is quiet, peaceful and a great escape from the noise of the city.
