Riverwood Hideaway

This off-grid, solar powered hideaway is on the Knife River just a few miles outside of Two Harbors, Minnesota. The cabin itself is loaded with comfort. A full kitchen, propane refrigerator, solar powered lights and a gas fireplace/furnace offer the conveniences of home. There is an outhouse and firewood for the outdoor firepit. You will have to bring your own water for drinking, but we provide hand and dish washing water at the sink. We have coffee with pour over utensils, dishes, spices.

Classic, Vintage Log Cabin on 2.5 acres right on Lake Superior - a cozy step back in time! 250 ft. of private bedrock shoreline. 3 Bedrooms: 2 Queen, 1 Dbl. Large updated 3/4 bath, kitchen, and indoor wood burning fireplace. Outdoor firepit, firewood and picnic table. WiFi, TV, and DVD. Close to everything Two Harbors and the North Shore provide! A Pack and Play, booster chair & high chair are available. The Nightly fee is for 2 adults. There's a $25 fee/night/each additional guest.

Whether you're hiking, sightseeing, biking, or simply relaxing by the fire, The Fireside offers the ideal base for your North Shore adventure.

Take a quick walk to the nearby candy store and search for agates in the Knife River. Perfect location to take advantage of all the Northshore has to offer, as well as Duluth. Note: If you must cancel your reservation due to inclement weather in December - March, we will refund your stay. You must cancel on or before your scheduled arrival date to receive your refund.

Treat yourself to a deluxe stay in this quiet, newly constructed cabin with picture windows, screened porch and barrel sauna. Enjoy long days and sunsets at Corny Beach, a 10 min walk from the cabin along a nature trail. Visit Bayfield 20 min away or take in the quirky, small-town of Cornucopia and then come home and take a sauna in this peaceful forest! The cabin has an occupancy limit of 2 adults and one dog ($50 pet fee). A SUP board is stored near the beach for guests in summer.
