We invite you to experience a relaxing and rejuvenating 'Retreat' or Get-A-Way in our Tree Home Suite on Whidbey Island WA...just 1 hour north of Seattle. You'll surely transend the bustle of busy life and be transformed as you immerse yourselves in this incredibly peaceful and healing environment. Enjoy 'full-circle' views of rich woods in our 250 Sq ft Octagon Tree Home with a gorgeous cedar tree going straight up through the center of the living space! A solid stairway travels 13 ft above the ground, leading to the 10' x 12' covered deck and your doorway to heavenly rest and retreat! Surround windows and skylights in the roof peak allow you to feel what it's like to be completely immersed in a beautiful, serene, healing forest of cedar, fir, hemlock, maple, alders, varieties of fern...and oh...enjoy watching and listening to our 'resident' deer, owls, ravens, eagles and many other birds. Look up through the skylight roof peak to behold a seemingly unending kaleidoscope view of tree limbs circling their trunks as they reach high in the sky. Be sure to see all the photos posted above including views of the beach, water and stunning sunsets over the Olympic Mountains.....easily accessible, less than 1/2 mile away. This gem is best suitable for adults, but we do allow children 12 and older too. Three adults can manage better than 4 because the hide-a-bed is a 'half-way-between-twin-and-double' size. However it has slats and an excellent quality foam mattress so it does not have the typical hide-a-bed 'bars' to contend with, nor does it sink in the middle. We provide single-sized, thick and dense foam pads and linens when needed for extra people. Please feel free to ask us how we can best meet your unique needs. Accommodations in the Tree House include: Queen Bed, "Sort of" Double Hide-a-bed Sofa (see paragraph above), Desk, Dining Table, Free Wi-Fi, Smart TV and DVD player. Duckless heatpump for heating and air. The electric 'Fireplace' adds warmth and ambiance. We provide a fridge (with freezer), microwave, dishes and silverware for prep and eating simple meals, warmed up left-overs, etc. We just don't allow 'cooking', using hot plates or fry pans, etc.... The fire pit may be used to enjoy a campfire and grill or roast hamburgers, hotdogs and marshmallows. Substantial cooking here with your own cooking equipment is not encouraged because that would require more extensive 'clean-up' than just a few dishes and utensils Our drain field is small and we want to keep the flow of gray water into it 'frugal' and biodegradable as much as possible. Your own private (and VERY cute) Shower House just a few footsteps away provides a shower, sink and state-of-the-art, no-odor composting toilet. We do have a porta-potty (marine type) on the deck of the Tree House for the middle-of-the-night needs so you don't have to trudge down in the dark to the composting toilet in the Shower House. Please read the house rules before you reserve to see if this type of accommodation is right for you. We DO NOT!!! provide charging for any electric vehicle.

Questa è una vacanza per chi desidera ricaricarsi e rilassarsi godendosi tutto ciò che Whidbey Island ha da offrire. Sorseggia un caffè locale mentre ammiri la vista a 180 gradi su Useless Bay e sul monte Rainier e sulle pittoresche fattorie. Raggiungi a piedi Deer Lagoon per osservare le oltre 170 specie di uccelli che vi risiedono.

Accogliente chalet sul lungomare, sullo stretto di Puget, su un acro privato con un sentiero che conduce alla spiaggia. I panorami sono incredibili: Hood Canal, Olympic Mountains e North Spit. Il paesaggio è incantevole, con un giardino maturo: rododendri, azalee e aceri giapponesi. La casa è un paradiso perfetto, con una spaziosa camera da letto principale, una camera da letto, una piccola stanza e un soppalco. Rilassati sul ponte o dirigiti verso la spiaggia per goderti la pace e la tranquillità, l'acqua e la vista. A soli 20 minuti dal traghetto di Kingston.

Whidbey & Chill - Moderno lungomare di metà secolo

Una classica casa moderna sul lungomare risalente alla metà del secolo, restaurata con cura e con una vista mozzafiato. La vista a 270 gradi sul lato ovest si estende dal Monte Rainier, il centro di Seattle, le Olimpiadi, Port Townsend e le isole San Juan. Situata su quasi un ettaro di terreno con una privacy difficile da trovare, questa casa dispone di un vialetto circolare, terrazza a tutta lunghezza, master suite con terrazza privata, cucina da chef con elettrodomestici di fascia alta e vicinanza a tutto ciò che Whidbey Island ha da offrire.

Situata a pochi minuti dal traghetto di Mukilteo e dall'affascinante città balneare di Langley, la nostra piccola fattoria biologica immersa tra vecchi alberi sempreverdi offre un rifugio confortevole. Interagisci con le oche di Sebastopoli simili a cigni (adorano le mele!) o con un caleidoscopio di circa 50 galline, due galli e le nostre aggiunte più recenti: due capre fratelle di nome Frank e Petunia. Sentieri curati conducono a una riserva naturale di 100 acri gestita dai nostri vicini The Whidbey Institute che chiamiamo "100 Aker Wood".

Questo tranquillo cottage costiero è stato costruito nel 2019 e si trova su 5 acri di prato verde lussureggiante, giardini e si affaccia su Deer Lagoon e Useless Bay. Questo casale moderno e luminoso è degno di una rivista, immacolato e dispone di tutti i mobili, elettrodomestici, biancheria da letto e asciugamani nuovi di zecca e di alta qualità, ed è completamente attrezzato per i cuochi gourmet. Per i bambini, il cottage offre un box, un seggiolone e giocattoli. Per gli adulti, su richiesta, sono disponibili bocce e croquet.

Di fronte all'ingresso del vialetto troverai 600 acri di sentieri chiamati Putney Woods, una zona popolare che è stata designata per escursioni a piedi, in mountain bike e a cavallo. Lo chalet dispone di un ampio portico, nonché di un'area esterna con focolare, da utilizzare quando non è in vigore il divieto di accendere fuochi.

Tidecrest: rifugio sulla scogliera e baita sulla spiaggia

Questa è una confortevole casa con due camere da letto in cima alla scogliera, con una vista mozzafiato a ovest su Useless Bay e Puget Sound fino alle montagne della penisola olimpica. Ai piedi del nostro sentiero lungo la scogliera, troverai il nostro chalet fronte spiaggia, un luogo magico sulla spiaggia di Maxwelton. Useless Bay è così poco profonda che con la bassa marea si possono percorrere chilometri lungo i fondali.
