We invite you to experience a relaxing and rejuvenating 'Retreat' or Get-A-Way in our Tree Home Suite on Whidbey Island WA...just 1 hour north of Seattle. You'll surely transend the bustle of busy life and be transformed as you immerse yourselves in this incredibly peaceful and healing environment. Enjoy 'full-circle' views of rich woods in our 250 Sq ft Octagon Tree Home with a gorgeous cedar tree going straight up through the center of the living space! A solid stairway travels 13 ft above the ground, leading to the 10' x 12' covered deck and your doorway to heavenly rest and retreat! Surround windows and skylights in the roof peak allow you to feel what it's like to be completely immersed in a beautiful, serene, healing forest of cedar, fir, hemlock, maple, alders, varieties of fern...and oh...enjoy watching and listening to our 'resident' deer, owls, ravens, eagles and many other birds. Look up through the skylight roof peak to behold a seemingly unending kaleidoscope view of tree limbs circling their trunks as they reach high in the sky. Be sure to see all the photos posted above including views of the beach, water and stunning sunsets over the Olympic Mountains.....easily accessible, less than 1/2 mile away. This gem is best suitable for adults, but we do allow children 12 and older too. Three adults can manage better than 4 because the hide-a-bed is a 'half-way-between-twin-and-double' size. However it has slats and an excellent quality foam mattress so it does not have the typical hide-a-bed 'bars' to contend with, nor does it sink in the middle. We provide single-sized, thick and dense foam pads and linens when needed for extra people. Please feel free to ask us how we can best meet your unique needs. Accommodations in the Tree House include: Queen Bed, "Sort of" Double Hide-a-bed Sofa (see paragraph above), Desk, Dining Table, Free Wi-Fi, Smart TV and DVD player. Duckless heatpump for heating and air. The electric 'Fireplace' adds warmth and ambiance. We provide a fridge (with freezer), microwave, dishes and silverware for prep and eating simple meals, warmed up left-overs, etc. We just don't allow 'cooking', using hot plates or fry pans, etc.... The fire pit may be used to enjoy a campfire and grill or roast hamburgers, hotdogs and marshmallows. Substantial cooking here with your own cooking equipment is not encouraged because that would require more extensive 'clean-up' than just a few dishes and utensils Our drain field is small and we want to keep the flow of gray water into it 'frugal' and biodegradable as much as possible. Your own private (and VERY cute) Shower House just a few footsteps away provides a shower, sink and state-of-the-art, no-odor composting toilet. We do have a porta-potty (marine type) on the deck of the Tree House for the middle-of-the-night needs so you don't have to trudge down in the dark to the composting toilet in the Shower House. Please read the house rules before you reserve to see if this type of accommodation is right for you. We DO NOT!!! provide charging for any electric vehicle.

I nostri due kayak per principianti e la nuova tavola da SUP sono disponibili per l'affitto. Sorseggia un caffè locale mentre ammiri la vista a 180 gradi su Useless Bay e sul monte Rainier e sulle pittoresche fattorie. Raggiungi a piedi Deer Lagoon per osservare le oltre 170 specie di uccelli che vi risiedono.

Esplora i chilometri di spiaggia e ammira tutta la fauna selvatica, tra cui aquile, balene, granchi di Dungeness, foche, leoni marini, innumerevoli specie di uccelli, pesci e molto altro ancora!

All'interno della casa sull'albero troverai finiture artigianali e arredi selezionati con cura provenienti dal Pacifico nordoccidentale. All'esterno, esplora i sentieri coperti dalla chioma degli alberi, inclusi quelli che conducono al Possession Beach Waterfront Park.

Una volta nascosto tra i boschi, questo chalet degli anni '20, rinnovato di recente, gode di un posto in prima fila alla maestosità del Canale Hood, grazie a un torrente che ha spazzato via il terreno sabbioso che un tempo supportava gli alberi abbandonati. Questo alloggio può rivelarsi difficile per le persone con mobilità ridotta. **I prezzi sono scontati a causa dei continui miglioramenti. Questo tranquillo cottage costiero è stato costruito nel 2019 e si trova su 5 acri di prato verde lussureggiante, giardini e si affaccia su Deer Lagoon e Useless Bay. Questo casale moderno e luminoso è degno di una rivista, immacolato e dispone di tutti i mobili, elettrodomestici, biancheria da letto e asciugamani nuovi di zecca e di alta qualità, ed è completamente attrezzato per i cuochi gourmet. Per i bambini, il cottage offre un box, un seggiolone e giocattoli. Per gli adulti, su richiesta, sono disponibili bocce e croquet.

Beach homes are fun, but take things a step further and immerse yourself with 270-degree views of the fjord at this historic boat house. A secret passageway leads to a speak-easy-style bedroom, and then down to a private hot tub where you can soak while watching the sun set over Olympic National Park. Big Beef Spit is a five-minute walk away. A neighboring guest house and caretaker’s cottage are also both available for rent. **Please note that the loft bedroom gets chilly during cold weather.
