Il Blue Heron Cabin si trova in una riserva naturale di 117 ettari. Vanta una colonia di aironi blu attiva in loco, un nido di aquile calve e una grande varietà di uccelli acquatici e animali selvatici. Facile accesso dalla Highway 2. Lago privato di 14 ettari per la pesca e il kayak in loco. Due kayak con giubbotti di salvataggio. Parcheggio per barche e rimorchi presso la baita. Rampa pubblica per imbarcazioni sul fiume Pend Oreille direttamente dall'altra parte della strada; spiaggia pubblica e parco giochi. Bambini benvenuti. Libri e giocattoli. TV da 55".

This cozy 640 sq. ft red log cabin is tucked up in the woods. The bedroom has queen bed. A 200 sq. ft loft has a queen and 2 twins, accessed by ladder (see pic). Full kitchen & BBQ (electric). 3/4 bath (shower). 32" Flat screen, Blu-ray, stereo. Romantic gas fireplace. Limited WiFi & cell coverage, come unwind, relax & recharge. Covered deck offers excellent wildlife observation. Owners have large people-friendly dogs, so no pets allowed. In winter, 4WD vehicle or chains strongly advised.

Rustic chic studio cabin (450sqft + a sleeping loft) set in an idyllic country setting. The timber for the cabin was harvested and sawed into logs in small batches within one mile of our location. The cabin was handcrafted by the owner to include log beds, dining table, and other accents. Enjoy modern amenities in a cozy atmosphere. This is the perfect place to get away from it all and enjoy a quiet weekend with endless night skies. There isn’t anywhere quite like Cougar Creek.

Enjoy a memorable visit when you stay in this unique place. Located only 3 miles to downtown Newport. This cabin has an incinerator toilet, sink and shower with hot running water… in the bathhouse there is a W/D, dry Sauna, right outside is a Hot tub to enjoy after a fun day in Sandpoint, Coeur d’Alene, Silverwood or a day on the Pend Oreille River. There are a total of 3 cabins for a girls retreat, guys getaway or a hunting/fishing base camp.
