Set in the heart of the Daniel Boone National Forest the Arthur Lakes Log Cabin is both easy to get to and relatively secluded. Nestled in a small valley, this quaint cabin is a perfect mountain getaway. Built in 1890, by the Lakes family, it has a romantic, rustic and nostalgic feel. If you are a history buff, interested in Appalachian culture, or just want a charming, outdoorsy and secluded getaway, this cabin is for you. Our 2-story log cabin (approx. 1,700 sq. ft.) provides plenty of outdoor refreshment with a spacious front porch and back deck with a dual gas/charcoal grill, balcony, wooden swing, and a firepit with plenty of cut firewood. It sits within a private holler on 105 acres along the edge of the Daniel Boone National Forest. The rustic-chic decor inside combines antique furnishings, repurposed barn wood paneling, unique lighting, electric fireplace, and a claw-footed tub amidst modern conveniences.

Enjoy fishing, kayaking, and boating, or explore nearby London, KY, with charming Main Street and great local restaurants. Cumberland Falls is a breathtaking 45-minute drive away. Relax in the main cabin, soak in the 2-person hot tub (if available) ,or take a romantic stroll through the wooded trails. Decks, trails, and boathouse access are included.

The Cabin on Panther Branch

Drive down Kentucky scenic highway 89 South just 9 miles south of McKee. The cabin is newly built and set back in a secluded area with a small creek running right beside the cabin and a larger creek just across the road. The Cabin on Panther Branch is a perfect place to come fish and kayak on the creek. Bring your ATV’s, side by side or dirt bikes and enjoy miles and miles of riding in S-Tree Tower in the Daniel Boone National Forest. We don’t think you will be disappointed with your stay.

Relax in this tranquil mountain get away surrounded by nature. It is secluded in the woods yet close to many amenities. It’s 15 mins from the I75 exit in Berea KY and less than an hour south of Lexington KY. Places of interest like the Berea College Campus, Owsley Fork Lake, the Indian Fort “ Pinnacles” Hiking Trails and Anglin Falls are 10 minutes away. It’s a 30 minute drive to Renfro Valley and 75 minutes to the countless trails in Red River Gorge and Cumberland Falls State Resort Park.

This cozy a-frame is located in the lakeside neighborhood of Echo Point, on Cumberland’s South Fork. Swim or fish off the dock, bring a paddle board, or drop a boat in at the nearby ramp. Relax on the deck with rock wall views and towering trees. Perfect for a couple or a small family get away. Walk to water/dock via a rustic path and stairs (it’s a steep climb!) *Not ideal for people with mobility constraints.* Stores & restaurants are 15 min drive. Dogs (2 max) welcome for add'l fee.

The Cabin at Fox Hollow Haven

Located only 1 mile from Manchester and half a mile from the Federal Correction Institution, the Cabin is in a rural setting yet close to everything. PLEASE NOTE: The Cabin is adjacent to a KY State Highway Garage and there’s no guarantee you won’t hear some heavy equipment noise sometimes. WiFi is 100 mbps. The Mennonite Bakery is less than a mile down the road and the swinging bridges and river are also nearby. Hiking, biking, walking and four-wheeling are all within an easy drive.
