Devnadi è un Haveli storico proprio sui Ghati (Banche) del fiume Gange. Una volta era la casa estiva della regina del Nepal a Haridwar, chiamata Kothi nepalese. In seguito è stato rilevato dal Legendary Director/Produttore dell'Indian Cinema, PadamShri Ramanand Sagar ji, che ha scritto qui molte storie di Spirituality. Devnadi ha uno dei più grandi Ghat privati della città, aiutando i devoti a fare un tuffo confortevole in completa privacy. Devnadi si trova a pochi passi dall'autobus e dalla stazione ferroviaria.

Bring the family to this great place with lots of room for fun. Initially started as a hotel/resort, now my wife and me are running the place as home stay. Though it takes time to get food ready but you will get tasty home cooked food. All food is vegetarian, no non vegetarian food. We have great 180° valley view from our place. The property is located in a ridge having sun shine all day along. We cater to small families and couples. Regret to say that we are unable to cater to all boys groups.

In the 18th Century, the Royal House of Nagpur greatly influenced by Maratha architecture built the Brijrama Palace on Darbhanga ghat. Considered as one of the oldest buildings on the ghats, it was originally designed to serve as a fort. This fort was acquired by the Maharaja Saheb of Dharbhanga in the early 20th century, who converted and christened this fort as the famous “Dharbhanga Mahal”. The Maharaja incorporated elements of Greek architecture and the first lift in South Asia.
