Built around 1850, the house has been in my husband's family since. We only started to share it last year and have had great reviews and enjoyed having guests. The house sits above a rocky bay on Loch Shielavaig and has views of Hecla and Skye. We hope you love it as much as we do. Our place is on the Island of South Uist next to beautiful Loch Bee. We have two double bedrooms next to a bathroom for your use. The Uist Machair is a World Heritage site and our beach is 25 miles long! There are daily ferry connections to Barra, Harris,the Isle of Skye and Mallaig, Argyll. Benbecula airport links to Glasgow and Stornoway using Loganair. There are hotels, cafes and shops within 5 miles which we can recommend. Askernish Golf Course is listed as one of the world's top links.
