Great play park for young and old. Close to beautiful Dunes and beach. Saturdays they have a stall for a cuppa or icecream

Fantastic large play area situated in the north of the island (approx 40 minute car journey from stornoway) set on 4 acres of natural machair (grassland) on the borders of a beautiful sandy beach. Perfect day out for all ages! theres also a lovely restaurant down by the pier, afew minutes drive away called "Breakwater", booking advisable.

If you have children with you then a drive to Ness is rewarded by an expansive swing park that will tire those little ones out. Have a go on the zip line, then the basket swing, find someone to go on the Rota Bounce, try and climb the tall frame; then take time out for a picnic on one of the many benches. Lots of play equipment in a unique place. Toilets onsite for your convenience.
