One of Liverpool’s most popular public parks, Calderstones is named for the six Neolithic sandstone boulders found here. They are believed to have formed part of a druidical circle that is older than Stonehenge. The park is also home to a 1000 year old oak tree.

Gorgeous big park, very safe and well kept. A favourite amongst dog owners and families taking children to the play area. There’s a gorgeous cafe and a summer garden open for food and drinks. Calderson Park is home to the oldest tree in England, the Allerton oak, a tree that’s over a thousand years old.
