To dance salsa and eat Latin food, Haydee is a nice place to go If your are in Mount Pleasant (1 metro stop towards North from Cardozo Station). We like to spend time there on week ends (and when my dad is visiting :)

This lively restaurant has very good Tex Mex and Salvadoran food and live entertainment/music. The place is very colorful without being pretentious, the food is yummy, and the music varied, such as Karaoke nights and occasional Mariachi performances.
