Common Fence Music presents culturally relevant but underplayed folk, roots & world music concerts & educational workshops. Supports worthy traveling artists: both celebrated performers & amazing unknowns. Bring your own dinner & age-appropriate beverages policy. Every January, they host A Gathering of Fiddlers and Fishermen, an open-mike tribute to the sea. It is a full night of local talent starting with a traditional Irish "Seisiún" where musicians gather for an 'unplugged' jam session of Irish tunes. A steady parade of musicians follows, including some fiddlers and some fishermen. And some are even both! The kitchen stays open throughout the evening serving up bowls of homemade chow
