Discover North Carolina’s only museum dedicated to the study of global cultures. The Museum of Anthropology (MOA) focuses on ancient and modern artifacts from cultures around the world, including the Americas, Africa, Asia, and Oceania. Exhibit topics include the archaeology of North Carolina's Yadkin River Valley, cultural diversity in Africa, the Silk Road trade route through Central Asia, and Plains Indian culture. Each fall, the Museum also presents an exhibition about the Mexican celebration of the Day of the Dead. Exhibits include hands-on activities for children and adults. The Museum is located on the campus of Wake Forest University; please call or email for turn by turn directions. Admission is free.
