This lovely walk takes you up to the ancient Drake Stone, a mythical place from where there are stunning views over the surrounding countryside and over to the ruins of Harbottle Castle. You can make a circular walk to the Drake Stone and passing Holystone lake and back through the forest.

If you enjoy a wander, this walk is about a mile and a half to the Drakestone and back. Or extend your walk further by adding a loop around the woods. Free parking, rough terrain.
