Absolutely gorgeous lake... 1 of 36 meromictic lakes in the world! There's camping, a beach, hiking trails, etc. There is also a 18-hold golf course.

An easy groomed trail that surrounds both Green Lake and Round Lake. A good stroller is easily navigable, the dogs love it, runners love it and your every day walker/ explorer. Signs surrounding the lakes explain how they were formed and the unique features of this gem. The view from the restaurants patio ( The Yard) at the top of the park is arguably the best view in Onondaga County.

A local favorite state park. Huge playground, easy hikes around the lake, great views. During the summer, this is a great beach spot with kid friendly shallow water. There are mountain bike trails as well.

Free weekdays if anyone in the car is over 62. A great beach, a 45 minute walk around the first lake and and additional 15 minutes to include the second. Nice changing rooms and snack bar. Millions were recently spent by the state to update everything. Wonderful hiking in the hills. A marvelous golf course with a club house to eat with a fabulous view. Consider deer tick spray and sunscreen.
