It's free to go up in the tower, spectacular views of the city and see a really neat, giganitc satellite map of the whole city.

Delish dining inside or alfresco in the garden next to the deYoung. Great for family and kids too

You can go to the cafe without buying at ticket to the museum. A nice place for an outdoor lunch.

The de Young is a beautiful museum. You can even see some art in the main atrium and enjoy a meal in the sculpture park for free. From the tower see a beautiful view of the park.
