Birders paradise. Viewing tower and raised board walk to lake. Herrons, Trumpeter Swans at sunrise, (in migratory season) many varieties of ducks. Budget friendly as it's free!

Tennant Lake Trail is a 2.9 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Ferndale, Washington that features a lake. The trail is good for all skill levels and primarily used for walking. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

A gentle walk along the Nooksack River and along boardwalks over wetlands - fragrance garden and viewing tower. Also visit Hovander Park with it's mix of fields, livestock, meadows and farm buildings.
