At the end of Timberline Drive (5-min drive/15-min walk) is a 5-min walk to a wonderful waterfall gushing through a narrow gorge deep in the Girdwood rain forest. For the more adventurous, the narrow trail continues steeply up the ridge to climb Max's Mountain for a spectacular view of the valley.

This is the easiest hike in Girdwood, plus it give a spectacular view!

In Girdwood, at the end of Timberline road. It is a short .2 mile hike into pristine rain forest with gorgeous creek and falls. Very middle-earth like. Photo ops the entire hike. Get for a short before dinner hike.
