Parking is limited, so go earlier in the day if possible! Lots of trails for walking, fantastic views, learn about quarries, a great time in nature. ** 2021 update: Parking lot CLOSED due to construction
On a clear day, visitors to Halibut Point State Park will be able to see Mount Agamenticus, located 81 miles away in Maine, and the Isles of Shoals off the coast of New Hampshire. You can explore the parks trails and tide pools, picnic on the rocky ledges, and learn about the history of Cape Ann's granite industry.
Great hiking around a quarry towards huge granite boulders jutting out into the Atlantic. Incredible panoramic views. Perfect place for a picnic
Beautiful and informative. Go to the top of the information center and see the Maine coastline.

Tidal pools harbor snails, hermit crabs, and sea stars. Above the reservation is the former Babson Farm Quarry, now filled by natural underground springs. Granite quarried here at the turn of the 20th century paved thousands of city streets and built bridges, tunnels, monuments, warehouses, and buildings, such as Boston's Custom House Tower.
