The City Centre comes alive on the first Thursday evening of every month, when all the art galleries are open until 9pm open. Thousands of people gather in the streets making it a wonderful occasion to see the city at night. Look for a map on line, or at one of the galleries to shop you where they all are. Or take an uber taxi to Church st which is where most of the people congregate.

A fun evening out if you are in town for the first Thursday of the month. Food trucks and gin bars, gluwein in winter and an artsy crowd that gathers to appreciate the pretty setting in Sandton.
