There are some fabulous hikes around this area, where you can take in both island / jungle and city views both at day and night!

Tai Tam Country Park is a country park in the Tai Tam area in the south end of Hong Kong Island. The park was expanded to near Quarry Bay in 1979. At 1,315 hectares, the park consists of one fifth of Hong Kong Island's land mass

Great hike, around 1,5 - 2 hours. Awesome views, and not too heave for inexperienced hikers.
