Since it opened in 2014 in a leafy Buenos Aires neighbourhood, Casa Cavia has carved out quite a name for itself, drawing an appreciative crowd to its high-ceilinged warren of rooms that are variously staged as restaurant, publishing house, bookstore, florist and perfumery.
Un lugar caro pero de altísimo nivel, para comer o tomar unos tragos / Expensive, but beautiful place to eat or have a few drinks
If you wanna propose to your partner this is the place to go. The beautiful old house where the restaurant is situated shares a space with a cultural center, publisher, bar, florist shop and a cafe. Sit outside in the garden for a boozy weekday lunch, afternoon merienda (teatime), or relaxed pre-dinner drinks. Chef Julieta Caruso (an alum of Mugaritz) designed the restaurant menu, which tends to take inspiration from seasonal ingredients, while the bar serves some of the best cocktails in the neighborhood.

This is the best restaurant of the area! I recommended it to all my guests and they were just delighted! Best lamb dishes, fish, pasta and best argentinian wine. They also offer the only pizza in Argentina which has the original italian napoletana recipe. Best drinks at night and great atmosphere. Go to the patio! It’s so so amazing. You won’t regret.
