Muckross Abbey is part of Killarneys National Park. The Abbey has a beautiful church, courtyard and ruins of a graveyard surrounded by trees. Taking a trip on Jaunting car is a must when you visit Muckross.

Located 5km from Tower House, Muckross Abbey is one of the major ecclesiastical sites, found in Killarney National Park, founded in 1448. it is the burial place of local chieftans from the 17th and 18th centuries.
