Great place to learn about the historic seaport and whaling industry that was prevalent in the North East in the old days. The functional black smith shop was always my favorite attraction as a kid.

The Mystic Seaport is right down the street from the net loft. Come visit the old world sailing ships that were used in the whaling and commerce industry. The village within the seaport will bring you back in time. Great educational experience for the kids.
