On 14th Street and the beach is El Taj. This beach club has nice umbrellas and a relaxed atmosphere. There is a restaurant as well here.

There is a nice beachfront restaurant called Indigo which offers buffet breakfast for about 10 usd

In Playa del Carmen there are many beach clubs, but none compare to El Taj. Only two blocks from the flat it is elegant, exclusive and well worth a visit. The food is great and prices reasonable.

Indigo Beach Club located at the El Taj. Indigo Beach Club at the beautiful El Taj cond hotel is a nice, all-ages beach club located in the heart of downtown Playa del Carmen.
