Kielder has dark skies status and is therefore excellent for star gazing. This must be booked in advance.

Keilder has some beautiful walks and is only a 40 minute drive away. At varying times of the year they also open the observatory to view the beautiful Northumberland skies. We have some of the lowest light pollution in the country so if sky gauzing is your thing this is the place!
