The pot still is a famous whisky bar which has a dizzying whisky selection and plenty of great ales. You can try a flight (3 whiskies) from all over Scotland or just have a singular dram of their "malt of the month" which is always special and always delicious (and cheap too!)! And the best part? It's literally just around the corner!

Nice mix of locals and tourists. Incredible whisky selection displayed on floor-to-ceiling shelves behind the bar (they climb a ladder to reach the ones on the top, very Instagrammable) - whether you're a whisky novice or expert, this is where you want to be. Knowledgeable friendly staff.

Great wee traditional Scottish pub serving good beer and whisky. Gets really busy so if you want a seat get there early.
