Ski/snowboard/tubing: 10 mins away-inexpensive, less crowded (i.e. no lines) and has a decent mom & pop kind of feel to it (i.e. fairly hospitable) as compared to other ski areas around Rochester.

Swain Resort is the oldest continuously operated ski area in New York, having been operated for 64 years.
