This penguin of a lighthouse is a bold black and white triangular lighthouse that is a modern symbol of Sullivan's. It isn't open to the public, but, it's one of the nicest spots to park and stroll a short boardwalk to the beach to spend the day.

A trip to Mt. Pleasant isn't complete without a visit to Sullivans Island even Edgar Allen Poe loved it so much he wrote about it and the lighthouse is a place not to be missed!

A great place to see and it is beautiful. Charleston Light on Sullivan's Island, South Carolina, which is the northern entrance to Charleston Harbor, was built to replace the defunct Morris Island Light on Morris Island
