Public transportation is still a bit sketchy on the island. It is best to rent a car. We now have Uber, though in its infancy here, it can be quite useful.

Our island has sketchy public transit so if you cannot rent a car, getting around is a problem. We now have Uber and that makes it possible to visit and go places without paying taxi stand rates for a private ride.

Uber is easy to get in Grand Junction and is the best way to get around if you don't have a car or a bike.
