A must see! It is an oasis of beauty and quiet in the city! They offer an outstanding gift shop and daily tours in peak season, as well as tea ceremonies in the Zen garden! Take a leisurely stroll and relax in this special place.

These beautiful gardens are rated 4 1/2 stars on TripAdvisor. Peaceful, serene and wonderfully Japanese. A pocket of inner peace on the prairies.

Peace, tranquillity and friendship await you at the Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden. The gem of Southern Alberta is celebrating it's 50th year with cultural activities and the very best omotenashi (hospitality) every day. Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden is open from May to October for the summer season and December and January for our Winter Light Festival. See their website for exact days and times.
